  • Quiet system with as much storage as can be afforded
  • As powerful a video card as can be afforded
  • DVD player/recorder built-in.
  • Basic and Advanced Video and Image editing software built-in
  • Internet access for e-mail, chatting, browsing, ...
  • Themeable menus
  • Region free player, PAL/NTSC conversion
  • Music player with access to popular music purchasing systems (iTunes and Amazon MP3)
  • Tools for podcasts, vidcasts, et cetera
  • A built in PVR with at least 1 receiver, but 2 or 3 would be nice
  • Connection to cable or satellite with all the functions of Tivo (pause, fast forward, rewind, record, scheduling, ...)
